Most consultants will tell you they have worked with organizations like yours. I ran them.
I spent nearly 28 years on active duty and more than two years in the Reserves, entering as an enlisted Soldier and retiring as a Colonel. During that time I led hospitals and health systems for the Medical Branch of the Army. That meant corporate-like environments with complex bureaucracies, competing priorities, and high stakes. It also meant doing the same work downrange: 14 months on my second combat tour, having already served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
Running a small health system in a theater of war has a way of clarifying what actually matters in leadership: clarity, trust, alignment, and people who know what to do when things get hard.
After retiring from the Army, I took those lessons into healthcare and nonprofit leadership in the civilian world and found the same fundamental challenges showing up in different clothes. That pattern is what led to Be Know Do and the BKD Framework.
Let us find out if we are a good fit.
A conversation is the only way to know. No pitch, no obligation, just a chance to talk about what is happening in your organization and whether Be Know Do might be the right partner.
