When leadership isn’t aligned, nothing else works.

Be Know Do partners with healthcare and nonprofit leaders — including those doing the hard work in rural America — to build organizations where people understand the direction, know what’s expected, and follow through. Not a cookie-cutter approach. A real working partnership, built around your situation.

How I Think About This

A lens I’ve carried since my earliest days in uniform — not a system, just how I tend to see a leadership challenge.

Identity — Be

Who your organization is — values, purpose, and the culture you’re building intentionally.

Clarity — Know

What people need to understand — direction, roles, priorities, and how decisions get made.

Execution — Do

How your team follows through — the systems and accountability that turn intention into results.

Who’s behind Be Know Do

I’ve led healthcare and nonprofit organizations. I’ve served in the military. I’ve worked in corporate America. What I’ve found — and proven more than once — is that the challenges leaders face are remarkably similar. The solutions, though, are often wonderfully unique.

Be Know Do exists because I believe mission-driven organizations and the communities they serve deserve experienced, practical, relationship-first support. My purpose is being an advocate for the underserved — and for the people taking on the hard work of supporting a community, especially in places that don’t always get attention.

“Only the people who get you deserve you. I’d rather have a short conversation where we end up agreeing things aren’t going to work out than a long engagement that doesn’t fit.”

What makes this different

No obligation conversation first. If we’re not a good fit, we’ll both know it early — and move on. Your time is too valuable for anything else.

Built around your situation. Sometimes that means coaching. Sometimes facilitation. Sometimes just being a sounding board. The title matters less than the outcome.

Authenticity is a core value, not a tagline. You’ll get honest opinions, “I don’t know” when I don’t, and a partner who’s not successful unless you are.

Let’s have a real conversation.

No pitch, no pressure. Tell me what’s happening in your organization and we’ll see if there’s a good fit. If there isn’t, you’ll at least have another lens on the situation.
